HFC Student Veterans of America - This organization will service members and dependents of the United States Armed Forces by maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for Veterans transitioning from Military to civilian life and services for Veterans within the community. This organization will bring people together through respect and the desire to help our nation’s heroes and their families.
Veterans Crisis Line - The Veterans Crisis Line connects Veterans in crisis and their families and friends with qualified, caring Department of Veterans Affairs responders through a confidential toll-free hotline, online chat, or text. Veterans and their loved ones can call 1-800-273-8255 and Press 1, chat online, or send a text message to 838255 to receive confidential support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Support for deaf and hard of hearing individuals is available.
Joint Services Military Transcripts (JST) and ACE - Transcripts for Military Personnel
Military Federal Tuition Assistance - Federal Tuition Assistance through the Department of Defense may available to some Veterans. Please visit the Tuition Assistance website for additional information. All Federal TA (Tuition Assistance) paperwork must be submitted to the Office of Student Accounts for processing.
State Tuition Assistance (MINGSTAP) - MINGSTAP is available to members of the Michigan National Guard who (1) are active in the National Guard (including the traditional service of one weekend/month and two weeks/year; (2) are not absent without leave or under UCMJ charges; and (3) meet the additional criteria established by the TAG consistent with the guard's recruiting and retention requirements.
MyCAA – Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts - The Military Spouse Career Advancement Account (MyCAA) Scholarship is a workforce development program that provides tuition assistance to eligible military spouses. The scholarship helps military spouses pursue licenses, certificates, certifications or associate degrees necessary to gain employment in high demand, high growth portable career fields and occupations.

Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency - The Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency (MVAA) serves as the central coordinating point, connecting those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces and their families to services and benefits throughout the state. MVAA is responsible for administration and operation of the Michigan Veterans Trust Fund, Michigan Veterans Homeowners Assistance Program, Michigan’s two veterans’ homes, constituent service or referral and the state's grant to chartered veterans' service organizations and the Michigan Association of County Veterans Counselors.

Children of Veterans Tuition Grant - The Children of Veterans Tuition Grant (CVTG) was established to provide an undergraduate tuition program for children of certain deceased or disabled members of the armed forces of the United States.
W.A.V.E. (Web Automated Verification of Enrollment) - All students who are receiving either the Montgomery G.I. BILL Active duty or Selected Reserve must now verify their enrollments monthly to receive payments. Verification must be done on the last day of every month. This verification can be done either by using the or by calling 888-442-4551.
