Geography

Did you know that Geography matters in everything that we do? Would you like to gain a better understanding of people, places and environments, both near and far? Geographers study the locations of people, places, and environments to understand where things are located and why they are there. Geography is a great choice for you to help make a difference in the world’s future.

Why should I choose this program?

Geography studies the location of people, places, and environments. Everything has a location, so everything can be studied in geography – culture, climate change, sports, food, music, race, ethnicity, health, and environment. All of your interests, whatever they are, can explored through Geography!

Employers are looking for workers who can navigate our increasingly interconnected world through their understanding of Geography. Employers seek out workers who have the kind of understanding that Geography provides by emphasizing the connections between people, places, and environments. Geographers work in an ever-growing range of career paths. From teachers to businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies, geographers can be found in every sector of the workforce.
