Student

After graduating from high school, I decided to enter the workforce. I chose to go in to a skilled trade, which was satisfying but I did not feel that I had good security for my future. For 15 years, I moved from one shop to another in the hopes of finding my perfect job. Unfortunately, I could never find that perfect job that made me feel that my future was secure. I researched various technical skilled jobs and what the workforce expectations would be in the years to come. I discovered electrical trades would be in high demand.

I called five different electrical engineering firms and asked what the requirements would be and what school they accepted graduates from. Four of the five said they had hired graduates from HFC. I then enrolled in the College's ET and completed my associate degree with the skills necessary to begin a new career and not just a job.
