Taha Abdulkarim, B.S.
Taha Abdulkarim graduated from Wayne State University with an undergraduate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and has been an instructor at HFC for more than 10 years. Before joining the faculty at HFC, he spent 12 years working as an IT professional in the field of computer networking during which time he participated in project implementations, system upgrades and technology conversions.
He is skilled in designing, planning and implementing LAN/WAN solutions. He has extensive knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, protocols, system engineering methods and network design. Abdulkarim teaches courses in both the CCNA and CCNP curriculum. He holds numerous Cisco certifications including CCNP Routing and Switching, CCNP Security and CCDP in addition to Security+, Server+, and Novell CNE certifications.
