Leisia Duskin, B.F.A.
Leisia Duskin is a graphic design graduate of the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. Her background includes education, advertising, print and digital graphic design, prepress production, customer service and digital asset management. Engaging the creative process, Leisia has developed career-based curricula and has designed instructional, marketing material and social media services for individual, corporate, literary and educational organizations. Her current inspiration is from poster and typography design on Pinterest, and famous quotes from artists and philosophers.
Leisia believes that effective communication, merged with appropriate technology, is the cornerstone of dynamic design solutions.
Her specialties include digital imaging, design and career-based training curricula, and program initiatives. She has served as instructor and instructional specialist at Henry Ford College, College for Creative Studies and Golightly Career and Technical Center. She has also been an advisory board member of SkillsUSA, Michigan Chapter; Business Professionals of America, Michigan Chapter; Lotus Press, Inc.; and Broadside Lotus Press. Her experience in design, production and brand identity include The MARS Agency, Oakland Community College, Mahindra, Lotus Press, Inc., R & L Color Printing, "The Observer & Eccentric News" and Ameritech Publishing, Inc.
