Join us for “Tongues of Fire” multi-lingual spring choral concert

The HFC Music Department will perform a multi-lingual choral concert called “Tongues of Fire” on Thursday, April 24, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Adray Auditorium (Room F-100) in the MacKenzie Fine Arts Center (Building F on the main campus).
The HFC Chorus and Blue Fusion will perform under the direction of Director of the HFC Chorus Amy Saari. This is the final choral concert of the 2024-25 academic year.
“Tongues of Fire” is a celebration of languages, featuring songs in English, Arabic, Latin, Nyanja (Zambia), and Brazilian Portuguese. The concert will also feature a wide range of genres and styes, from the 18th century classical style of Mozart to 1970s funk and beyond.
“The singers' embrace of such wide-ranging cultural expressions is something to behold this season,” said Saari.
This concert is free and open to the public. No registration is required. For questions or more information, contact Saari at asaari@hfcc.edu.
Public events at HFC are open to all. Everyone is welcome.
