Stress management seminar as finals approach

With finals on the horizon, HFC Counselor Amy Ducklow will facilitate a seminar: “Stress Management: Tips for Reducing Anxiety While Preparing for Final Exams” on Wednesday, April 23, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. via Zoom.
The purpose of this seminar is to learn the following objectives as you navigate finals:
- Identifying the leading causes of test anxiety
- Understanding the stages of test anxiety
- Recognizing healthy coping skills
- Learning effective relaxation techniques
“Stress is inevitable, but how you manage it is up to you and in your control," said Ducklow. "There are strategies you can learn that will encourage you and help you to relax before taking a test.”
Sponsored by the HFC Office of Student Activities, this seminar is part of HFC’s Winter 2025 Wellness Series. It is free and open to all students.
