HFC will host “Race to Talent with Registered Apprenticeship” during which you can learn about the construction industry’s registered apprenticeship programs and networks on Wednesday, April 30, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Room E-150 of the Technology Building (Building E on the main campus). This day is also National Apprenticeship Day.

This is event is sponsored by the Detroit Employment Solutions Corporation and National Apprenticeship Week. It recognizes the Detroit Home Builders LLC and their dedication to building Michigan’s pipeline.

From classroom to career – apprenticeships get you there

“Students can connect with apprentices, educators, and industry leaders while learning more about career opportunities in the construction industry through registered apprenticeships,” said HFC Workforce Development Program Manager Cassandra Myers. “They will learn how hands-on training and real-world experience are essential in shaping the next generation of skilled trades professionals.”

From the classroom to the job site, you will discover how apprenticeships are laying the groundwork for a stronger future!
