A few important details before you sign up

The two benefit enrollment systems will be activated on Monday, Nov. 4. They will close at midnight on Friday, Nov. 15. You will need to sign up for all your 2025 benefits during this 11-day period.

The entire process of enrolling should take just a few minutes if you are not making changes. However, we strongly recommend that you begin the process of signing up for benefits BEFORE the final day of benefits sign-up. This will allow you to request and receive help if you need it, before the deadline.

You will need to enroll in BOTH medical and non-medical benefits. Each has a separate sign-up process; please see below.

How to sign up for MEDICAL benefits

You will use PlanSource to sign up for your medical benefits.

  1. Go to the Plansource login page

You may access this site on your computer, tablet, or smart phone.

  2. Enter your PlanSource username and password.

Your username for PlanSource is your full HFC email address.

  3. Make any changes you want for 2025.

  4. Review your selections carefully and submit the form.

Once you submit the form, your selections will be locked in for 2025. You will not be able to make further changes until the November 2025 open enrollment period, unless you experience a qualifying life event (marriage, birth of a child, etc.)

If you have questions, please contact Tiffany Webster at tlwebster1@hfcc.edu or 313-845-9692. Or, come to one of the open sessions.
