MI-ACE Women’s Network sponsors webinar on coping with burnout
The MI-ACE Women’s Network at HFC is sponsoring a webinar called “How to Recognize and Minimize Burnout” on Tuesday, March 26, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. via Zoom. Jaimie Hutchison will serve as the facilitator.
Burnout impacts our physical and mental health, which directly affects our work and personal lives. In this webinar, we will define burnout, explore the stages of burnout, and explore the steps to minimize burnout and help us navigate stressful and uncertain times in a healthy way. Learning the signs of burnout is a positive way to promote health and wellbeing in the workplace.
About Jaimie Hutchison
As the director of the WorkLife Office at Michigan State University, Hutchison supports MSU’s recruitment and retention of a high-performing workforce and the wellbeing of a diverse community of more than 13,000 scholars and staff. With her husband Dr. Wayne Hutchison, she is also co-owner of Team Hutch Consulting, LLC in Okemos.
Hutchison earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from MSU. She earned her master’s degree in community counseling from the University of Northern Colorado and a post-master’s certificate in school counseling from Eastern Michigan University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Hutchison is the president-elect for the College and University Work-Life-Family Association Board of Directors. Her interests include leading initiatives to promote personal and workplace wellbeing and being part of a vibrant, knowledgeable team in an effort to move educational institutions forward by being leaders and innovators in the work-life industry.
