This summer, HFC will host four Michigan Reconnect information sessions from June 20 to August 8.

Michigan Reconnect provides free college tuition if you are over the age of 21. Our information sessions will provide information to help you gain access to Michigan Reconnect and related resources.

Available Sessions

These Michigan Reconnect information sessions will be held on the following dates:

In person: Thursday, June 20, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Location: the Community Rooms of the Welcome Center.

This session will offer Enrollment Services, Financial Aid, Admissions, and Advising.We recommend you register in advance, but drop-ins are also welcome.

Michigan Reconnect eligibility requirements

Michigan Reconnect provides in-district tuition at no cost to you. This applies to any associate degree or skills certificate program. If you are between 21-24 years old, don’t miss out: the program for those under age 25 is only available between now and November 15, which means you have to register no later than Fall 2024 semester (starts August 22).

To be eligible for Michigan Reconnect, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old.
  • Have lived in Michigan for a year or more.
  • Have earned a high school diploma, high school equivalency (GED), or certificate of completion.
  • Not yet have a college degree.
