Join HFC and UM-Dearborn for 3rd annual MLK Peace Rally

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the third annual MLK Peace Rally co-sponsored by HFC and the University of Michigan-Dearborn will be held on Thursday, January 18

Schedule of events

• 11:00 a.m.: (optional pre-event gathering) :Making signs at both campuses.
• Noon to 1:00 p.m.: Speaking portion begins at HFC in the Rosenau Rooms on the first floor of the Administrative Services & Conference Center (ASCC) (Building L on the main campus).

Meet in the Rosenau Rooms at HFC

“Originally, the plan was to meet at UM-Dearborn and begin the march there, then come over to HFC’s Rosenau Rooms, but the extremely cold weather makes that more challenging. So we’ve decided to let people make their way to the HFC campus by car if they prefer,” said HFC Student Activities Assistant Kayla Collins.

Parking options

Guests may park in Lot 12, Lot 11, or Lot 10 on the south side of the HFC campus.

Parking pro tip for UM-Dearborn visitors: Parking lots D and C2 on the UM-Dearborn campus are also very close to the L Building on the HFC campus where the event will be held.
