From mid-September through mid-December, HFC will present seven shows at the Hammond Planetarium (Room J-102) in the Science Building (Building J on the main campus).

Here is a schedule of the shows, all of which will run from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Each show has a separate registration form. We recommend you register to be assured a seat. Open seating is first-come, first-served:

All shows will be presented by local NASA Solar System Ambassadors Timothy Campbell and Liam Finn.

The seasonal shows will be narrated by HFC Chairperson for Media Communication Arts Susan McGraw and a recording by the late Dale Van Dorp, alias the “Voice of Dearborn.”

"Our fall planetarium show is my favorite seasonal show because it tells the story of the princess Andromeda and the hero Perseus, which is the archetypal princess and dragon story. The whole drama incorporates a half dozen constellations and spans nearly half the sky!" said HFC Planetarium director and physics and astronomy instructor Jesse Mason.

Please register, and plan to arrive 15 minutes early

For safety reasons, the Planetarium will not admit latecomers once the doors close, so please arrive by 7:15 p.m.

All shows are free and open to the public. For questions or more information, contact planetarium@hfcc.edu.
