Culinary Wellness Café is open for lunch

HFC’s Culinary Wellness Café will reopen on Wednesday, September 18, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Café will be open throughout the Fall 2024 semester on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays until December 4. (The Café will be closed Nov. 27 and 28 for the Thanksgiving holiday.)

Inside the Skylight Café and just outside the Fifty-One O One student-run restaurant in the John McDonald Student & Culinary Arts Center (Building M on the main campus), the Culinary Wellness Café offers great lunch options at just $7 for a meal and one side dish.

The menu rotates every week. The “Modern Comfort Menu” will be featured the first week. Visit the Café website for a list of the menu options that will be offered for each week. Halal options are available.

Menu options, Sept. 18-19 ($7 each, plus tax)

  • Rotisserie-Style Chicken: Leg and thigh quarters, oven roasted and served with locally grown greens and one side.
  • Mac and Cheese: Barilla Plus mac and cheese with broccoli, served with one side.
  • Three Side Combo: Smashed redskin potatoes, braised greens with smoked chicken, and mac and cheese with broccoli.
