Afree Wellness Series at HFC begins Feb. 22 to promote the mental health and well-being of all HFC students.

You may attend any or all online sessions that interest you. The events are distinct from one another, and you are not required to attend all sessions.

The Winter 2023 Wellness Series is sponsored by Student Activities, the Student Council, Counseling, Campus Safety, and the Student Conduct and Compliance.

Seminar One: Time Management

This seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 2:00 p.m.

In this seminar, you will learn the skills to efficiently budget your time in all areas of your life to get the most out of each day. HFC counselor Dr. Gwendolyn Pringle is the facilitator.

Seminar Two: Maintaining Healthy Relationships

This seminar is scheduled for Thursday, March 16, at 2:00 p.m.

In this seminar, you will learn the meaning and characteristics of healthy relationships (family, romantic, and otherwise) and how to cultivate these kinds of relationships. HFC counselor Amy Ducklow is the facilitator.

Seminar Three: Stress Management

This seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, April 26, at 3:00 p.m.

In this seminar, you will learn how to minimize the stress that often comes around finals and discover proven techniques to relieve stress and anxiety. HFC counselor Imad Nouri is the facilitator.
