HFC’s Black Male and QUEENS Focus Group (BMQFG) Policing and Community Collective will host a discussion called “Student Dialogue on Policing and the Community” on Wednesday, April 12, from noon to 2:00 p.m. in the Rosenau Rooms on the first floor of the Administrative Services & Conference Center (Bldg. L) on the main campus.

Students will guide this discussion based on their concerns. This discussion will include members of local police agencies and HFC Campus Safety. Law enforcement representatives have been invited to the College to listen, learn, and share their perspectives regarding students’ concerns about the current state of policing in our communities. This has been a polarizing topic in our country for a long time.

HFC counselors will also be available to assist anyone in need of support or resources.

This event is supported by:

This discussion is free and open to the HFC community -- students are encouraged to attend, but you do not have to be a student to attend. We will accommodate as many attendees as the room will hold. For questions or more information, contact Cassandra Fluker at crfluker@hfcc.edu.
