Sign up your department to participate in Welcome Back Days this fall
HFC Student Activities is making plans for Welcome Back Days for the Fall 2023 semester, which will be held September 18-22.
Welcome Back Days introduces students to programs and services that support student success. All activities will take place in person and on campus for the upcoming Fall 2023 semester.
Your department is invited to participate!
We invite departments across campus to participate in the Student Services Fair on Tuesday, September 19, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Student & Culinary Arts Center (Bldg. M on the main campus) to meet with students and help them become familiar with the services in your area. This will help them learn how to make the most of their time at the College.
Some options for you to participate:
- Host a table where you provide items or information for students
- Offer a service to students
- Host a game or activity for students
- Add your own creative ideas
The theme is Vote Ready
This year's theme is Vote Ready. We will encourage students to register and exercise their right to vote in future elections, including the 2024 presidential election.
Tuesday, September 19 is also National Voter Registration Day. Students can register to vote September 18-21 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Student Center, unless otherwise noted.

Friday, September 22 (Discover Day)
- 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.: Discover Day, an annual event held campus-wide for high school students by the HFC Admissions and Recruiting team
