M-Connect presents: “Making the Leap: student perspectives on transferring to a university”

A student panel discussion called “Making the Leap: Student Perspectives on Transferring to a University” will be held from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, and on Thursday, March 23, via Zoom.

This panel discussion is sponsored by M-Connect, a partnership between area community colleges, including HFC, and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor for students wishing to transfer.

Staff from M-Connect will speak to students and HFC alumni who have successfully transferred from their community college to U-M. Discussion topics:

  • Wondering what you will do after community college?
  • Having trouble seeing yourself as a student attending a large university?
  • Curious about student life at a university?

Hear their stories, learn from their experiences, gain valuable advice, and start planning your next steps. Even if you do not plan to transfer to U-M, we encourage you to attend this panel discussion.
