HFC will host a screening of the award-winning human trafficking documentary called Break the Chain on Thursday, Jan. 26, at 1:00 p.m. in the Berry Amphitheater on the first floor of the Andrew A. Mazzara Administrative Services & Conference Center (ASCC) (Bldg. L).

The one-hour-long documentary chronicles two survivors of human trafficking, providing a detailed look at how trafficking goes unnoticed within our backyards. Accompanying the stories of these survivors are nearly 20 interviews with researchers, politicians, non-profit organizations, legal service agencies, law enforcement officers, and several artists actively working to raise awareness for this serious topic.

A Q&A with director Laura Swanson will follow the screening.

This screening is free and open to the HFC community. For questions or more information, contact Glenn Richards at grrichards2@hfcc.edu.
