HFC softball team finished 3rd in the MCCAA Eastern Conference

The HFC softball team completed a winning season after competing in the National Junior College Athletic Association Region XII Division II Great Lakes District B Softball Tournament. In the tournament, they lost a close 8-7 game to Ohio-based Cuyahoga Community College.

For the 2022-23 season, the Hawks finished third in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association Eastern Conference with a record of 17-13. The team’s overall record for the season was 21-17.

“I am proud of the group of athletes I had this season,” said Coach Steve Brown. “They put the work in and gave their all. Their perseverance, dedication, and work ethic were a blessing and a privilege for me to coach. I’m thankful to have coached them and been part of their lives.”
