HFC and UM-Dearborn co-host MLK Peace Rally (Jan. 19)

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the second MLK Peace Rally co-sponsored by HFC and the University of Michigan-Dearborn will be held on Thursday, Jan. 19, from noon to 1:00 p.m.

The event schedule is:

  • 11:00 a.m.: Making signs (optional)
  • 12:00 p.m.: Walk begins at UM-Dearborn
  • 12:20 p.m.: Walk ends at HFC
  • 12:30 p.m.: Speaking portion begins
  • 1:00 p.m.: Event ends

Meet at University Center

Participants will meet at the UM-Dearborn campus University Center, 4901 Evergreen Rd. Participants will walk across the UM-Dearborn campus and onto the HFC campus to the Andrew A. Mazzara Administrative Services and Conference Center (ASCC) (Bldg. L).

The rally will conclude in the Rosenau Rooms on the first floor of the ASCC. Speakers will include:
