In commemoration of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, HFC and First Step in Wayne will host a live domestic violence webinar called “Everyone Knows Someone” on Wednesday, October 4, from 1:00 to 2:15 p.m. on Zoom.

In this live webinar, participants will learn about the free services First Step provides to survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and stalking. Facilitators will highlight warning signs and various forms of abuse, will cover topics such as facts vs. myths, and will discuss the complex realities and systemic barriers behind why survivors might stay in or return to an abusive relationship.

A 15-minute Q&A question will follow the webinar.
