“Future of Work: The Battle for Gen Z” town hall features luminaries and VIPs

H ow can Michigan attract and retain Gen Z talent? How do we become a destination for aspiring workers?

Join us this Thursday, October 5, for a rousing town hall conversation about The Future of Work: The Battle for Gen Z Talent. Detroit Public Television and HFC welcome:

  • Journalistic luminaries Nolan Finley and Stephen Henderson;
  • State of Michigan Chief Growth Officer Hilary Doe;
  • Michigan Radio Political Director Zoe Clark,
  • Henry Ford College President Russ Kavalhuna
  • Wayne State University President Kimberly Andrews Espy

During 3 separate panels over 90 minutes, the panelists will talk about Michigan's population growth strategies, higher education's role in talent attraction and how equity comes into play in these conversations.

The audience will be invited to ask questions and engage with the speakers.

The conversation starts at 8:45 a.m. in the Rosenau Rooms. Doors open at 8:00. A networking opportunity with light refreshments will be available. This event is free of charge.
