The Learning Lab is hiring students for Winter 2023
The HFC Learning Lab is hiring students! Available jobs are peer tutors and student clerks for the Winter 2023 semester.
Located in Room A-200 of the Learning Success Center (Bldg. A) on the main campus, the Learning Lab offers supplemental learning services and resources for students, including peer and faculty tutoring, assistance with test preparation, access to computers and printers, and computer-assisted learning programs.

Peer tutor requirements
If you want to apply for the peer tutor (paid and volunteer) openings, the requirements include:
- You have completed at least one semester at HFC
- You have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
- You earned a grade of B+ or higher in the courses that you want to support in the Learning Center
- You obtain two letters of recommendation
- You enroll in a minimum of six credits for the Winter 2023 semester
Student clerk requirements
If you want to apply for the student clerk openings, the requirements include:
- You have completed at least one semester at HFC
- You have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- You have basic computer skills
- You enroll in a minimum of six credits for the Winter 2023 semester
