Pet Insurance is a new benefit option for 2022
We have added pet insurance to our offerings for 2022. Enrollment for pet insurance is separate from open benefits enrollment. You will need to sign up for pet insurance through the link below.
If you are interested in pet insurance, you must sign up for pet insurance by the open benefits enrollment deadline of November 29, 2021.

Henry Ford College is pleased to announce that a new voluntary benefit will be available to you starting January 1: pet Insurance with Nationwide. Whether they have two legs or four, every family member deserves quality health care. Nationwide pet insurance plans give you the freedom to use any veterinarian, anywhere, including specialists and emergency providers.
You will pay for coverage through an after-tax payroll deduction. Pricing varies depending on the type of pet and where you live. You will be able to get a quote and enroll through a custom portal that will be posted in the BenXpress enrollment system. All plans have a $250 annual deductible and a $7,500 maximum annual benefit. You can choose a reimbursement level of 50% or 70%. Coverage includes:

- Rx therapeutic diets and supplements

- Pet Rx Express
- And more!
Your pet won’t be dropped from coverage, regardless of age or number of claims filed. Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Any illness or injury your pet had prior to the start of the policy will be considered pre-existing.
