Memorial for Dr. Michael Daher, Sept. 18. Zoom option also available
The family of Dr. Michael Daher warmly invites the HFC community – faculty, staff, and students – whose lives were touched by the late Dr. Daher to a memorial and celebration of his life on Saturday, Sept. 18, from noon to 2:00 p.m.
This memorial will be held at the Dossin Great Lakes Museum on Belle Isle in Detroit. A short program will begin at 12:30 p.m.
This will be a non-religious memorial event with hors d'oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages. There will be an open mic for attendees to share their memories of Dr. Daher, who was an HFC English professor and the Henry Ford II Honors Program director.
We will be following CDC recommendations for indoor gatherings and request that attendees wear a mask at this memorial. If you do not have a State Park recreation passport, you may be asked to purchase one for $12 at the kiosk upon entering Belle Isle (although there is often nobody working at the kiosk, so this may not be necessary).
Please RSVP through Paperless Post to attend this memorial. All are welcome.
Zoom option
You may also attend this event on Zoom. The link is here. The stream will begin at noon.
