HFC presents “Money Lessons for Every College Student” Oct. 21 and Nov. 18

The HFC Student Activities Office will host a financial literacy series called “Money Lessons for Every College Student” on Thursday, Oct. 21, and Thursday, Nov. 18. Both sessions are scheduled for 3:00 p.m.

The Oct. 21 workshop will cover the basic money management skills of budgeting, managing checking/savings accounts, accumulating savings, and managing expenses and student loan debt. Please register to attend.

The Nov. 18 workshop will help participants understand the meaning of credit, how to read credit reports, how to build credit scores, and the use of credit cards. Please register to attend.

You may attend one or both free workshops.

Sue Katz of American Consumer Credit Counseling (ACCC) will facilitate this series. Katz is a community outreach coordinator, certified credit counselor and educator. ACCC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, offering confidential consumer credit counseling services, debt management, and financial education to consumers nationwide.
