Eshleman Library to gradually expand on-campus services during Fall 2021
HFC’s Eshleman Library (Building B) plans to gradually expand its on-campus services during the Fall 2021 semester.
For the remainder of the summer and early into the Fall 2021 semester, the Eshleman Library building will remain closed. All library services will remain virtual. Online librarian help is available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday through Friday (To get help, go to “Ask A Librarian”).
Starting in mid-September, curbside service for circulating library materials/equipment will be offered during select hours, which will be determined at a later date.
By appointment only
Around the middle of the Fall 2021 semester, the Eshleman Library will remain closed except by appointment only. The details and requirements for “by appointment only” visitors are as follows:
- Appointment times will be offered during select hours (TBD)
- Must be a current HFC student
- In-person short-term computer use and/or printing, in-person reference service (research help), and individual study in the library will be allowed
- No group study will be allowed
- Students may schedule library appointments via link
At this time, curbside service will continue (hours TBD) as will online librarian help, which will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday through Friday.
Winter 2022 semester
When the Winter 2022 semester begins Monday, Jan. 10, 2022, the library plans to be open for walk-in service. The hours are TBD at this point. Online librarian help will continue.
