The HFC Black Employee Association (BEA) presented their first anniversary event titled "Looking Back and Moving Forward" on June 29, 2021.

In this video, keynote speaker Dr. Kimberly Hurns, Executive Vice President of Instruction and Academic Affairs at Washtenaw Community College, and panelists from Michigan colleges and universities share their reflections on the year 2020 and visions for the future. The conversation touches on issues related to higher education, diversity / equity / inclusion / justice, and insights on perseverance in work and life, in the wake of a tumultuous year.
