Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy will be on campus to welcome the public on March 5.

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy is hosting a series of public Town Hall meetings throughout Wayne County. The fifth in this series of Town Hall meetings will be at Henry Ford College in Dearborn, Michigan.

“It is a privilege for me to interact with the citizens of Wayne County. There are so many serious issues right now that my office deals with each day. I want to give people an idea of what an urban prosecutor’s office is like. The meetings will be up front and personal. This fifth town hall meeting will cover the Wayne County metropolitan communities," said Prosecutor Worthy.

HFC community members and citizens of Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Garden City, Inkster, Melvindale, Wayne and Westland, police, community leaders, and press are welcome to attend. Enter campus through the South Entrance on Evergreen Road, look for Building L on your right. Park in Lot 12 or 11 on this campus map.

Light refreshments will be served.

The Town Hall's focus will address:

  • Operation of the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office
  • School threats
  • Domestic violence
  • Conviction Integrity Unit
  • Sexual assault kits
  • Drug and Mental Health Court

There will be a question-and-answer session available for the last half hour to address questions and concerns with Prosecutor Kym Worthy.

Future Town Hall meetings will be held at various locations in the City of Detroit and other Wayne County communities.
