Greetings, HFC colleagues,

Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) is a joint venture between Academic Affairs and Student Affairs. It includes participation from the entire College. A cross-divisional Strategic Enrollment Management Core Team is leading the way in evaluating and improving our enrollment processes and student success outcomes.

The Retention Sub-Team seeks members from across the College to create a plan with recommendations for strategically increasing HFC students’ outcomes in retention, completion, and success measures. All employees are eligible.

In addition to the co-chairs, the Retention Sub-Team will consist of a core team comprised of two representatives from the following areas:

School of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Professional Development
School of Health and Human Services
School of Liberal Arts
School of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math
Student Affairs and Co-Curricular areas

This sub-team will begin working in January 2021. Participation will require a minimum of one meeting per month (core team) and will require research and writing.

For consideration, please complete the interest survey by December 4, 2020:
Retention Sub-Team Interest Survey
Core team selections will be communicated before the end of the Fall 2020 semester.

This work is important to the future of our College, and we hope you will consider volunteering. If the number of interested participants exceeds the number of available core team slots, you will have an opportunity to contribute by assisting core team members on focused topics related to the sub-team’s mission and goals.

Thank you for your consideration.
