HFC supports Juneteenth peaceful protest in Dearborn
On the afternoon of Friday, June 19, 2020, a historic holiday known as Juneteenth, members of the HFC and Dearborn community will gather for a peaceful protest march "to show solidarity and denounce racism, racial profiling, and police brutality against people of color."
“Kneel for Peace and Stand for Justice”
The group will gather between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, at the Dearborn Police Department, 16099 Michigan Ave, Dearborn, MI 48126 (see map).
Parking will be available at the 19th District Courthouse right behind the Police Department. Traffic on Michigan Avenue will be re-routed for this event, so you may need to enter the police station parking lot via Reckinger Road off of Greenfield.
