Henry Ford College uses text and phone call alerts to keep the campus notified of major issues such as campus closings and emergencies. The alerts are our first line of communication with you in the event of an emergency or other urgent situation.

We can only send you alerts if you sign up for them.

We encourage ALL employees, students, and family members to customize their alert notifications, and keep their information up to date.

Please visit the Alerts website to make sure that:

  1. Your notifications are set up the way you want them. You can set them up to send you a text message, send you a voice message, or both.

NOTE: If you set the alerts to send you a voice message, your phone WILL RING when there is an alert. Even if the alert takes place in the middle of the night.

  1. Your phone number and contact information are correct and up to date.
