Turkey Trot fundraiser for Hawks’ Nest and BMQFG this Saturday

Release Date
Location
Student & Culinary Arts Center (Bldg. M)
It wouldn't be Welcome Back Days at HFC if the Hawkster, HFC's official mascot, didn't make an appearance.

In an effort to raise money for HFC’s food pantry, the Hawks’ Nest and the Black Male and QUEENS Focus Group, HFC will host a Turkey Trot fundraiser Saturday, Nov. 9.

Runners should meet at the Student & Culinary Arts Center (Bldg. M) at the following times:
• 9:30 a.m. to check in for the 1 Mile Fun Run that begins at 10:00 a.m.
• 10:00 a.m. to check in for the 5K run/walk that begins at 10:30 a.m.

An awards ceremony will be held from 11:30 a.m. to noon. Runners also have the option of running in costumes. HFC President Russell Kavalhuna will be running the 5K as a Henry Ford Hawk.

Registration forms are available online, or you can register on-site Saturday morning at the Student Center.
