Students: the Writing Center is here for you!
Release Date
The HFC Writing Center, inside the Eshleman Library (Building B), is here to serve you at any stage of any writing project, whether it involves:
- Understanding assignments
- Developing a thesis
- Generating ideas for writing projects
- Organizing ideas
- Building support/research
- Revising returned papers
- Planning for writing exams
- Writing admissions and scholarship essays
- Expanding your writing potential
- Any other writing project
You can make an appointment or drop in for a 30-minute one-on-one session with an English faculty member. Appointments are recommended, and are given priority.
Writing Center hours are:
- Monday and Tuesday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Wednesday and Thursday: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Appointments can be scheduled up to 24 hours before your desired time. Your appointment is not set until you receive confirmation from the Writing Center. To make an appointment, email writingcenter@hfcc.edu.
