CTEI hosts screening of the film "Unlikely" Sept. 23

The HFC Center for Teaching Excellence and Innovation (CTEI) will host a screening of the film Unlikely Monday, Sept. 23, at 3:30 p.m. in the Forda Auditorium on the first floor of the ASCC (Bldg. L). This is event is a collaboration with Wayne State University and the University of Detroit Mercy through ReBUILDetroit, focusing on innovative programs across the country that have increased student persistence and college completion rates.

Set in the cities of Akron, Atlanta, Boston, and Los Angeles, Unlikely investigates America's college dropout crisis through the lives of students navigating the higher education system and the innovators working to close the opportunity divide. Co-written and co-directed by husband-and-wife filmmakers Adam and Jaye Fenderson, Unlikely features an appearance by basketball great LeBron James.
