Accessibility training sessions: better service for everyone
Learn how to make your documents accessible to everyone! HFC is offering accessibility training for HFC employees, on Fridays in Room 213 in the ASCC Building (L).
Upcoming sessions
Sessions are paired for your convenience. You do not have to do both sessions in any pair; you can take individual sessions if you prefer.
Tuesday, June 4: "Creating Accessible Excel Spreadsheets" at 1:00 p.m.
Followed by "Advanced Word/PDFs" at 2:30 p.m.
Tuesday, June 18: "Introduction to Accessibility" at 1:00 p.m.
Followed by "Creating Accessible Word Documents/Converting to PDF" at 2:00 p.m.
Tuesday, July 9: "Advanced Word/PDFs" at 1:00 p.m.
Followed by "Creating Accessible Forms with Adobe Acrobat" at 2:30 p.m.
Tuesday, July 23: "Introduction to Accessibility" at 1:00 p.m.
Followed by "Creating Accessible Word Documents/Converting to PDF" at 2:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Aug. 13: "Introduction to Accessibility" at 1:00 p.m.
Followed by "Creating Accessible PowerPoint Presentations/Converting to PDF" at 2:00 p.m.
Delivery format and timing for each session
- "Introduction to Accessibility" runs approximately 45 minutes.
- All other sessions are hands-on and will run approximately 90 minutes each.
- All sessions are available in a flexible online version. Request information from Rachel Ford at raford3@hfcc.edu.
