New portal interface for faculty, staff, students

You might have noticed some changes to the Employee Portal format if you logged in this week. The layout has changed to make key resources easier to find. Further enhancements are on the way. Login to my.hfcc.edu to see the updates.

Employee forum refreshed

One significant change in the portal is that we moved the Employee Forum to a prominent boxed location at the top, center of the portal, and refreshed its purpose and guidelines. The Forum allows you to communicate anything you want to the HFC community (within reason; see Forum Purpose and Guidelines) for details.

Other changes

  1. You will find handy links at the top of the portal to Groupwise email, HFC Online, HFC Self-Service, H and K Drives, and your Office 365 (OneDrive) shared files.
  2. Your profile information, including title, HANK ID, office, and e-mail addresses are at the top so you can make sure they accurate
  3. College News is available on the right side of the interface

Student Portal makeover

The Student Portal has undergone a complete overhaul, centralizing student resources and improving the user experience. Full information about those changes, and upcoming improvements, is on our news website.
