Free concert at Sisson: We Are Dearborn tie-in
We Are Dearborn, a community discourse on what it means to live, work, attend school in, or visit Dearborn is currently on display in the Sisson Gallery, Bldg F - The MacKenzie Fine Arts Center, Henry Ford College.
The exhibition features 42 large scale photographic portraits (all at least 21" tall) of individuals from around Dearborn, including a group that were taken as part of a Digital Photography class project.
The Sisson Gallery has also reserved a wall for individuals to have their Dearborn Selfies displayed. Selfies should be emailed to wearedearbornexhibit@outlook.com
The exhibition runs through March 16, 2018.
The reception is Thursday, February 15, 2018, 4:30 - 7 p.m.
Free Concert Feb. 5
Some We Are Dearborn special events are being planned for the Sisson Gallery during the time this exhibition is on display. The first event is a free "Live Blues In the Sisson Gallery" concert featuring Blues Hall of Fame members Harmonica Shah and Howard Glazer, as Glazer is a longtime Dearborn resident. The concert is Monday, February 5, 2018, 4:30 - 6 p.m.
The exhibition, as well as the concert, is free and open to the public!
