Men's Basketball

Men's basketball won a conference, state and district championship in 2021 and a berth to the NJCAA National Championship. Men's basketball is the oldest Hawks sport, with a strong history of success.

Volleyball

Volleyball returned to the HFC athletics program in 2016. The season runs from September through November. Home games are played in the Memorial Gym.

Baseball

HFC’s baseball team won the conference title six consecutive years in the 1990s, and today's team is poised to return to championship form. The Hawks compete from March to May and play home games at The Corner Ballpark in Detroit, MI.

Golf

HFC sponsors golf in both the fall and winter semesters. Hawks consistently advance to the regional championship and several have represented HFC at the national level.

Softball

HFC won a conference and state championship in 2021. Hawks softball players are consistently recognized with top athletic and academic honors throughout the state, region and nation. Softball plays at Heritage Park in Taylor, MI.

Wrestling joined the HFC Varsity lineup in 2018 after a successful run as a Club sport. The program consistently competes at the National Championships level and has produced five All-Americans.

Roller Hockey (Club)

The HFC Roller Hockey Club made its debut in 2017 and advanced to the NCRHA National Championship in 2018 and 2019. The club is currently the 2021-2022 NCRHA division champion after winning 3-1 in the best-of-five championship series in April 2022.

HFC offers sport camps for youth between the ages of 6 to 18. Year-round camps are run by experienced professionals, including HFC varsity coaches, guest coaches, and student-athletes.

Donations of any amount help support HFC student-athletes! Donations of $100 or more provide recognition in The Hawks Booster Club. The Hawks Booster Club represents friends, alumni and community members who promote and support Henry Ford College’s athletic program. The primary purpose of The Hawks Booster Club is to provide scholarship assistance to students participating on athletic teams and to lend general support to the athletic program.

Membership in the Hawks Booster Club is $100 and includes

  • recognition in the Hawks Game Day programs,
  • recognition on the Hawks Athletics website, and
  • membership certificate.
