HFC Board of Trustees announces that Russell A. Kavalhuna has been selected as College President

At a special meeting March 28, the Henry Ford College (HFC) Board of Trustees announced the pending appointment of Russell A. Kavalhuna, J.D., A.T.P. as president of HFC. The appointment will become official after contract negotiations are completed.

“After an intensive national search, the Board of Trustees is very pleased to announce that Russell Kavalhuna has been selected as President of Henry Ford College,” said Dr. Michael Meade, Chair of the HFC Board of Trustees and Chair of the Presidential Advisory Search Committee. “Mr. Kavalhuna is eminently qualified and has proven to be an effective leader – the kind of leader we need as the College celebrates its first 80 years and looks forward to success in the coming decades.”

“The Board and I are very pleased with the quality of the finalists, and with the depth, transparency, and due diligence of the search process. The results have exceeded our high expectations, and we believe Russell Kavalhuna will be an exceptional leader and member of the Henry Ford College community,” added Dr. Meade.
